The activity, which was held on November 9, 2024, succeeded in inviting 1,106 MSME actors from 38 provinces in Indonesia to participate. This achievement is real evidence of MR.DIY's commitment to empowering the community and supporting Indonesia's economic growth.

Edwin Cheah as President Director of MR.DIY Indonesia stated, “We are very happy and proud to be able to facilitate MSMEs to grow by transforming digitally. The enthusiasm of MSME friends throughout Indonesia is our passion to continue to grow side by side with the community. This training reflects our commitment to sustainable national growth, which benefits the community, and creates long-term value for Indonesia.”

Andre Purwandono as Sr. Customer Relations Manager MURI added, “MURI is very proud to be able to give an award for MR.DIY’s initiative in organizing ‘Hybrid MSME Digitalization Training from the Most Provinces.’ This achievement shows an extraordinary commitment from MR.DIY to reach MSMEs throughout Indonesia, providing access to digital knowledge and skills that are very relevant in today’s era. We hope this step inspires more companies to take an active role in supporting the local business community and helping advance the Indonesian economy.”

Participation from every province in Indonesia, confirms the dedication of MR.DIY towards inclusivity and innovation, reflecting a strategy to expand access to resources and growth opportunities throughout Indonesia. In the training activity entitled “MR.DIY Ada Aja Idenya: Digitalization of Business for MSMEs to Rise to the Next Level”, MR.DIY also invited MSME and digital experts to explain the business development of successful entrepreneurs who started their journey from MSMEs, namely Asep Mulyadi, owner of the Queenza Winazar Homeliving brand, whose business also grew by partnering with MR.DIY and Istafiana Candarini, owner of the Kami Idea brand. In addition, MSME actors also gained knowledge about digital marketing tips and tricks from Ria Sutrisno as Head of Marketing MR.DIY Indonesia and digital consultant Patrick Rimba, as well as digital banking education from Yunita Chandrawati as EBB Liabilities & Fee Income Product, and Performance Head CIMB Niaga.

The training initiated by MR.DIY was also directly felt by the participants of the UMKM actors. Galih, a participant who attended the online session and a member of the UMKM Friends community from Padang City said, "This event is very good because it can present and involve UMKM, so that we are motivated to continue to innovate and compete to adjust the standards needed by modern consumers. The knowledge about business digitalization that is presented is also attractive and fun, so it can be directly applied to develop a business. Hopefully MR.DIY can provide even more benefits to UMKM, for example by providing wider opportunities to collaborate with UMKM so that more UMKM products enter the global market."

"This record-breaking is certainly one of the real proofs of MR.DIY's commitment to making a real contribution to society. Of course, recording this record is also a trigger for us to always present things that are useful for people throughout Indonesia," Edwin concluded to the media.
